Hot Knife, named after the featured track by Fiona Apple, is a short experimental dance film. Shot during Namgauds’ Time & Space Commission residency at Sadlers Wells in early 2024, It sits alongside of and helped to inform The Heat, Namgauds new live work, premiering in 2025. Hot Knife is a continued exploration of the domestic space and what it unlocks within and around us and how it moulds our experiences and supports our mood.
